Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions about funeral plaques with QR codes
What is a memorial plaque with a QR code?
It is a discreet plaque, engraved with a unique QR code, placed on a grave, a burial plot or a funeral monument. Scanned with a smartphone, it opens the deceased’s digital memorial.
On which monuments can the QR code plaque be placed?
On any smooth, clean, dry surface compatible with 3M VHB adhesive: granite, marble, polished stone or metal. Installation is possible on an existing grave or plaque.
Does the plaque withstand rain, frost and UV?
It is made of anodised aluminium, a material intended for prolonged outdoor use, and the 3M VHB adhesive is designed to withstand the weather.
How many photos and videos can be added to the memorial?
The pack includes 60 optimised photos and 50 YouTube video links. You can buy photo add-ons if you need more. The content remains editable at any time without changing the plaque.
Why are two plaques included?
The second plaque lets you equip another place of remembrance or keep a spare. Both point to the same memorial.
What happens if a plaque is damaged or lost?
Each plaque has its own QR code. It can be deactivated from your space without changing the memorial’s public address or its content.
How much does the funeral plaque with QR code cost?
€89 incl. VAT, excluding shipping. That price covers both QR code plaques and twenty years of hosting for the digital memorial, with no subscription.
Can a QR code plaque be placed in a cemetery?
It usually can, but permission may be required depending on the country, municipality or site manager. We recommend checking the applicable rules before installation.
