Privacy

A private, secure memorial, accessible to your family

You stay in control. The family decides who can view the memorial, whether it may appear in search engines, and which contributions are published.

Accessible by QR or linkThe recommended setting: easy to share, but not indexed by default.
Private with an access codeAn alphanumeric code, separate from the QR, protects access to the memorial.
Public and indexableThe family can choose to make the story discoverable in search engines.

A help, never a substitute

Tell it in your own words, at your own pace

If you wish, an assistant can help you organise memories and draft a first biography. Nothing is published automatically. You review, edit and approve every sentence.

Memoraluna does not offer an avatar, a synthetic voice, or a simulated conversation with the deceased.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about memorials and funeral QR codes

What is an online memorial?

It is a page dedicated to someone who has died, gathering their biography, photos, videos and the memories of their loved ones. It opens in a browser, by scanning the plaque’s QR code or by sharing its link.

Who can view my loved one’s memorial?

You decide: accessible by QR code and link, protected by an access code, or fully public. The setting can be changed at any time.

Who can edit the memorial?

The owner can invite several co-administrators and set their rights: content, moderation, privacy, statistics or managing relatives.

Does the memorial appear in Google results?

Not by default. Indexing is off regardless of access by QR code or link. The family may choose to make the story discoverable if they wish.

Does the memorial require a subscription?

No. The offer includes the online memorial and twenty years of hosting, with no subscription or recurring fees.

How long are the memories kept?

Twenty years of hosting are included. Saved memories are never deleted to force a renewal: a lower quota can only block new additions.
